Mother Rugger: Neighbourhood’ Exhibition

Friday 3rd April 2026

Neighbourhood brings together six artists deeply rooted in the local community, each offering a distinct and thoughtful interpretation of the spaces people inhabit, pass through, and collectively share. United by a connection to West London yet varied in their creative approaches, the group explores how everyday environments shape identity, memory, and the rhythms of communal life.

Through a diverse range of artistic voices—from bold botanical studies to introspective abstraction, from intimate street observations to contemplative industrial vistas—the exhibition reveals the layered textures that define contemporary urban living. Together, these works highlight the quiet beauty, unexpected contrasts, and human stories found within familiar neighbourhood settings.

Featuring contributions from:

  • Celia Martine Pickering
  • Anna Lisova
  • Mr Mr Pearce
  • Anna Booth
  • Iona Stern
  • Vicki Cooke

Together, these six artists create a collective portrait of neighbourhood life—one that celebrates diversity, community connection, and the meaningful, often unnoticed details that shape the everyday experience of West London.
