Richmond American University London is an independent liberal arts university based in Chiswick Park on Golden Mile London offering a distinctive dual UK and US degree experience to its students. It blends American-style higher education with British academic accreditation, letting graduates earn both a UK-recognised degree and a US degree upon completion. The university offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, alongside professional development, executive education and short courses for individuals and organisations.
Founded in 1972, the institution has a long history of global education and a strong international community, attracting students from over 90 countries and emphasising broad-based, interdisciplinary learning across areas such as business, technology, communications, social sciences and the arts. Its liberal arts curriculum follows the American model, featuring diverse core courses alongside specialised majors, postgraduate study options, and opportunities for study abroad, internships and professional training.
In addition to degree programmes, the university provides tailored briefings and bespoke programmes for businesses, including guidance on operating across the United States, the United Kingdom and China.
Located in a modern campus environment within Chiswick Park’s business district, Richmond provides students and professional participants with access to contemporary facilities, career support services and community connections in London, one of the world’s most dynamic cities for culture, work and academic life. The university’s location also supports its engagement with corporate partners and international organisations.
The university offers scholarships and funding options to help reduce the financial burden of studying in the UK and supports undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes designed to prepare students and executives for global careers.
