THE VISION FOR GOLDEN MILE LONDON LAUNCHED ON 25 FEBRUARY 2026 AT BRENTFORD FC.
The vision is layered on top of the Golden Mile London Investment Framework that was approved in January 2026 by London Borough of Hounslow’s Executive:
As Golden Mile London is now being nurtured using an Innovation District approach it will play a stronger role within WestTech London, and benefit from the talent pools, collaborative networks and supply chains that exist across this extended geography. This future trajectory is being guided by the Golden Mile Business & Developers Forum (GMBDF).
The West London sub-region includes new, transformational public transport infrastructure (Elizabeth Line/HS2) as well as a significant Underground Network. A new ‘West London Orbital’ railway, repurposing an existing freight line, will be the catalyst for Golden Mile London achieving easy access to the Elizabeth Line, GWR and HS2.
