Hounslow’s iconic Golden Mile has been announced as a partner destination for the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) 2025, set to take place in June. As the borough continues to celebrate 100 years of the Great West Road, this partnership will highlight the area’s rich architectural heritage, its evolution as a centre for industry and innovation, and its vision for the future.
The Golden Mile, stretching from Gillette Corner to Chiswick, is famed for its striking Art Deco landmarks, including the former Gillette Factory and the Firestone Building, alongside cutting-edge developments shaping the area’s next chapter. The LFA partnership will showcase how architecture, regeneration, and design continue to define this significant corridor.
A series of special events, tours, and exhibitions will be hosted along the Golden Mile throughout June, celebrating its legacy while looking at how it is evolving into a modern hub for business, creativity, and sustainable development. Full event details will be announced in late March.
