Walled Garden Summer Season Returns Bigger and Brighter at Boston Manor Park

Boston Manor Park is set to host its first full Walled Garden Summer Season this year, transforming the newly refurbished venue into a hub of open-air entertainment and community celebration. Running from 22 July to 31 August, the expanded programme follows the success of 2024’s pilot season and is presented by The Arts Centre Hounslow.

Theatre Under the Stars – Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, back after a sell-out run, and Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest headline the theatrical offerings with performances staged beneath the summer sky by a professional ensemble cast.

Music, Comedy and Culture – The season launches with Grandpa Poseidon, a mythological family adventure, followed by Frozen Love: A Buckingham Nicks Story—a musical homage tracing the early days of Fleetwood Mac. Comedy lovers won’t want to miss Headliners Comedy, where Sindhu Vee, Finlay Christie, and host Stephen K Amos deliver top-tier stand-up. Local talent also shines through Magic Of The Musicals, a showcase of performers working across the community’s cultural landscape.

Family Entertainment Family – friendly highlights include the playful Dr Freg and the Fruit & Veg Mysteries and The Big Bad Wolf: A Rock ’n’ Roll Musical—a bold twist on classic storytelling.

Season Finale: Boston Manor Beer Festival Wrapping up the summer celebration, the Boston Manor Beer Festival offers a lively weekend of street food, craft brews, and live music for all to enjoy.

A Venue Revived

Boston Manor Park now boasts restored heritage buildings, improved green spaces, and upgraded play and sports facilities. Artistic Director Jonathan Ashby reflects on the transformation: “Last year showed us how brilliant this space can be for so many different purposes, in this case for laughter, connection, and celebration. This full season is a bold step forward, bringing leading cultural initiatives into the heart of the community in an accessible summer location.”
